Olive Bread

I'm back! Ready to share with you another bread recipe. With only half a dozen ingredients and easy to make. It was a very intense January. A little bit of everything happened, some cycles closed and others started again. February is almost halfway through and these days there will be some recipes to you to make for your Valentines. As you already know, I love to cuddle my little ones. And one of the ways I find to surprise them is to create recipes with the ingredients they like the most. This recipe is for my Alice and everyone who loves olives. Alice is crazy about olives, every day she has to take a box for lunch, even if it is one or two. I ended up making three versions to please Greeks and Trojans. Some simple breads for Lucas and Matilde, some with olives and seeds and others only with olives. It wasn't long before they were just a memory. The dough is simple and with only five ingredients and then the olives and seeds for the interior. Recipe Ingredients 50g Wheat Flour 1 tbsp of Salt 250ml of Warm Water 50 ml of Olive Oil 1 sachet of Yeast Pitted Olives Seeds (optional) Instructions Place the yeast, 100g of flour and 100 ml of water in a bowl. Stir well, cover with cling film and let rise for 20 minutes. In a processor, place the remaining flour, salt and mix. Add the yeast prepared in point 1, the remaining water and the olive oil. Let the dough beat for 5 minutes. Add the olives, without water, and let it beat for another minute, until well incorporated. Put the dough in a bowl, cover and let it rise for 1 hour (or until it doubles in volume), inside the oven, turned off, and covered with a davit or with cling film, After leavening cut the dough into equal portions (weighing the dough helps in this part) or make larger breads. Form balls and let the dough rest for 10 minutes. Place in a tray covered with parchment paper and let rise for another 30 minutes. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 200 degrees. If you want to look more beautiful you can make 2 cuts with a sharp blade. Place a tray of boiling water on the bottom of the oven to create steam. Bake 10 minutes at 200 degrees and another 15 minutes at 180 degrees. This recipe, like all bread recipes I share, can be easily made by hand.
